Finally Google released their acclaimed 7-inch Android tablet Nexus 7, the question is, if you are looking for a tablet around $200, should you buy a new comer Nexus 7 or should you buy a popular Kindle Fire ? In term of specification, Nexus 7 comes with HD screen 720P (Fire is less) and a front camera for video chat. You may use this to take a photo of yourself or your daily activity but it won’t as good as a dual-camera tablet, but in contrast Kindle Fire offers none on camera.

While Kindle Fire runs on its unique OS that adapted from Android 2.3 OS, Nexus 7 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the one that google has been developing. In term of functionality, the HD screen is very easy on your eyes, you don’t need to zoom in as many times as you use Kindle Fire since the screen is crisper. The only feature that I believe Kindle Fire is still a better choice is its Amazon support, because Fire is a tablet that design to be an Amazon digital media consumption tablet, so it is easy to buy to store songs, movies, apps, that is a strong suit of Amazon, but with Nexus 7 you may need to have a little bit of technology knowledge to install app from Google app market and find the right apps.
